Completion of Networking, Telephone Exchange, and Fire Alarm System Installation at Olympus Mall Islamabad

This project aims to enhance the technological infrastructure and safety measures at Olympus Mall in Islamabad by completing the networking. The project will improve communication capabilities, streamline operations, and ensure the safety of visitors and staff within the mall premises by installing a telephone exchange and fire alarm system.

The main objectives of the project are as follows:

a) Networking infrastructure:

HIT Solutions team ensure optimal communication, data transfer, and network connectivity, it’s important to create a strong networking infrastructure throughout the mall. This will facilitate easier communication and make the entire process more productive. This will enable seamless connectivity between different departments, shops, and administrative offices within the mall.

b) Telephone exchange system:

Install a modern telephone exchange system that supports multiple lines, extensions, and features. With this system in place, communication within the mall becomes much smoother and more efficient. It allows for easy cooperation between staff, tenants, and visitors – creating a hassle-free environment.

c) Fire alarm system: 

 Implement a comprehensive fire alarm system to ensure early detection of fire hazards, timely evacuation of occupants, and prompt response from emergency services.

This project covers the following aspects:

a) Networking infrastructure:

• Olympus Mall requires a thorough survey to evaluate its networking requirements. This survey would include assessments of the numerous departments, shops, and administrative offices present in the mall.
• Structured cabling should be strategically designed and implemented to ensure that the mall has a reliable network connection.
• Install network switches, routers, and wireless access points as per the networking plan.
• Test and configure the network to ensure optimal performance, security, and compatibility with various devices.

b) Telephone exchange system:

• Assess the communication needs of the mall, including the number of lines, extensions, and features required.
• To ensure the fulfillment of specifications, a telephone exchange system needs to be sourced and installed. This will guarantee successful communication between users.
• Integrate the telephone exchange system with the existing infrastructure and ensure compatibility with different telephone sets and devices.
• Configure the system settings, such as call routing, voicemail, and call forwarding, based on the specific needs of the mall.

c) Fire alarm system:

• Conduct a fire safety assessment to identify the optimal locations for fire alarm detectors, control panels, and notification devices within the mall.
• Procure and install a state-of-the-art fire alarm system that includes smoke detectors, heat detectors, alarm control panels, and emergency evacuation systems.
• Integrate the fire alarm system with the central monitoring station and ensure compatibility with the emergency response services.
• Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of the fire alarm system to verify its functionality and compliance with safety regulations.

This project is intended to enhance the technical set-up and safety protocols at the Olympus Mall in Islamabad so that it will be more protected.
